Privacy Policy

Hybrig is a tool for making AI video on your own hardware. Local renders never leave your machine — your GPU does the work, your files stay on your disk. When you do upload something to your account (a face image, voice sample, script, or finished render destined for cloud), we store it in your private bucket. We don’t sell any of it. We don’t train models on it. You can delete every byte any time by emailing hello@hybrig.com.

Hybrig is built and operated by James Deter, doing business as Bigglesworth-Studios, out of Maryland, USA. One person reads every privacy email. For deletion requests, questions, or anything else covered here, write to hello@hybrig.com.

To use Hybrig you create an account and we store:

• Account data — your email address, an encrypted password (if you chose email/password), or a Google account identifier (if you chose Google sign-in).
• Face images — photos you upload to create a character pack. Stored in your private bucket. Used only to render videos you request.
• Voice samples — audio you upload or record to clone your voice via ElevenLabs. Stored in your private bucket. Used only to generate speech you request.
• Scripts and prompts — the text you write that gets rendered into video.
• Generated videos — the output of your renders, stored in your private bucket until you delete them.
• Render metadata — model used, cost, duration, timestamps. Used to show you your dashboard and bill correctly during paid tiers.
• Session cookies — Supabase sets one cookie to keep you signed in. That’s the only cookie we use. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies.

The face images and voice samples you upload are biometric identifiers under Illinois’ BIPA and Texas’ CUBI. By uploading them, you give Hybrig permission to:

• Store them in your private storage bucket on Supabase.
• Send them to the AI providers listed below to generate the videos you request.
• Keep them until you delete the corresponding character pack or voice profile, or until you delete your account, at which point we destroy them.

We do not use your biometrics to identify you across systems, share them with anyone beyond the AI providers needed to fulfill your render requests, or train any AI model on them.

To deliver the service, we send specific data to specific vendors:

• Supabase — database, file storage, auth. supabase.com/privacy
• Google — only if you sign in with Google. We receive your email, name, and Google account ID. policies.google.com/privacy
• ElevenLabs — voice cloning and text-to-speech. We send your voice sample and scripts; receive generated audio. elevenlabs.io/privacy
• fal.ai — cloud-side video rendering when local rendering isn’t available. We send face images, scripts, and audio; receive generated video. fal.ai/privacy
• Vercel — web hosting. Sees standard server logs (IP, request path). vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

We don’t share your data with anyone else, sell it to advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

Database and file storage are hosted on Supabase’s US-East region. Web hosting is on Vercel’s global edge network. Cloud renders run on fal.ai’s infrastructure. If you’re in the EU or UK, your data may be transferred to the United States to deliver the service — by using Hybrig you consent to this transfer.

We keep your account data and uploads as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete every piece of data tied to it within 30 days, including all face images, voice samples, scripts, and generated videos. Backups are rotated out within 90 days.

You can:

• Access all data we have about you (email request).
• Export your data as JSON (email request).
• Correct inaccurate data via your settings page or email.
• Delete any character pack, voice profile, or generated video from the dashboard. To delete your entire account, email us.
• Opt out of biometric processing by deleting your character packs and voice profiles — that stops all biometric handling immediately.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you think we’ve mishandled your data.

Hybrig is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we’ll delete it.

When we make material changes — anything that would affect what data we collect, who we share it with, or how long we keep it — we’ll email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The latest version always lives at this URL.
