Terms of Service
Last updated: April 25, 2026
The short version
Use Hybrig to make AI video. You own what you render — keep it, edit it, sell it, post it. In exchange: don’t impersonate people without permission, don’t generate illegal content, and don’t use Hybrig to harass, defraud, or hurt anyone. We’ll keep the service running and the bills honest. We can’t promise zero downtime, and we can’t cover damages bigger than what you’ve actually paid us. The longer version is below — it’s the same deal, just spelled out for the lawyers.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Hybrig, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service. If you’re using Hybrig on behalf of a company, you’re telling us you have authority to bind that company.
2. Who can use Hybrig
You must be at least 18 years old. You must provide accurate registration info and keep your password secure. If someone uses your account, we treat their actions as yours — so don’t share your password.
3. Your content (uploads, scripts, references)
You retain ownership of everything you upload — face images, voice samples, scripts, reference materials. To run the service we need a limited license from you to:
- Store your uploads in your private storage bucket.
- Process them through the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy to fulfill your render requests.
- Display them back to you in the dashboard, gallery, and editor surfaces.
This license ends when you delete the upload or your account. We don’t use your uploads to train models, sell them, or share them with anyone outside the AI providers needed to deliver your renders.
4. Generated content (the videos Hybrig produces for you)
You own the videos Hybrig generates from your inputs, subject to:
- The license terms of the underlying AI models (e.g., fal.ai’s commercial-use rules for Seedance, ElevenLabs’ voice clone restrictions).
- Any third-party rights in the inputs (if you uploaded a copyrighted song or someone else’s photo, the resulting video may inherit those restrictions).
- Our right to use a small selection of public-gallery opt-ins to demonstrate the product (see section 5).
We don’t claim ownership of your generated videos. Use them commercially, edit them, post them — they’re yours.
5. Public Gallery (opt-in)
You can mark individual renders as public — they’ll appear on /gallery for anyone to see, along with the script you wrote and any creative direction notes. By opting in, you grant Hybrig a perpetual, royalty-free license to display that specific video for marketing and product showcase. You can un-publish a video any time and we’ll remove it from the gallery within 7 days.
6. Acceptable use — what you cannot do
You agree NOT to use Hybrig to:
- Impersonate someone without their permission. Uploading a face that isn’t yours, isn’t a willing participant’s, or isn’t licensed for AI use is grounds for immediate account termination and possible legal action.
- Create non-consensual intimate imagery, child sexual abuse material, or any other illegal content.
- Defame, harass, threaten, defraud, or stalk any person.
- Generate content designed to mislead voters, spread political disinformation, or impersonate public officials.
- Infringe copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to disrupt the service’s infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the service for competing AI training data.
- Resell access to your account or share API keys outside your organization.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, delete the offending content, and report illegal content to the relevant authorities.
7. AI-specific disclosures
Hybrig uses third-party AI models (Wan, Seedance, VEO, Kling, ElevenLabs, etc.) to generate content from your inputs. AI-generated content can:
- Contain artifacts, hallucinations, or unintended outputs.
- Reflect biases present in the underlying model’s training data.
- Render slightly differently each time, even with the same prompt.
You’re responsible for reviewing and approving every output before publishing it. Hybrig is a tool, not an editor.
8. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but make no guarantees. The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Cloud renders depend on third-party providers (fal.ai, ElevenLabs) and may queue, fail, or slow down during peak times beyond our control. Local renders depend on your own hardware.
9. Pricing and billing
Hybrig is free during beta. When we introduce paid tiers, current users will get at least 30 days’ notice and an option to keep using the free tier with reduced limits. Cloud render costs (fal.ai pass-through, ElevenLabs character credits) may eventually be billed to you at cost during beta — you’ll always see an estimate before the render runs.
10. Termination
You can delete your account any time by emailing hello@hybrig.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay, or engage in conduct that puts the service or other users at risk. On termination we delete your data per our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers and liability cap
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hybrig (and its operators, contractors, and providers) is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Hybrig is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100. We don’t guarantee any specific result, output quality, or revenue from using Hybrig.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Hybrig against claims arising from your uploads, your generated content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third party’s rights.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Maryland.
14. Changes to these terms
We’ll email you at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of Hybrig after the effective date counts as acceptance.
15. Contact
